Storage settings requires admin permission.<\/p>\n\n

Go to the page Group settings.<\/a><\/em> Under Module settings\/Storage settings <\/em>you will find settings for the Storage function.<\/p>\n\n

  • Enabled Create storage items when an article is added to an order.<\/span> \n<\/span>Articles added to an order or quote will also be added as stock items in your Default storage. <\/span>If you have a small inventory that you want to grow, \u201cCreate Inventory\u2026\u201d is an easy way to update your inventory. Don’t forget to make a inbound delivery to add amount to your stock items added this way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Always create storage items in main storage<\/strong><\/span> \n<\/span>Created storage items will always be added to you<\/span>r main<\/b> storage. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Show print column on deliveries.<\/span> \n<\/span>Adds a PRINT AMOUNT column on deliveries where you specify how many copies of labels to be printed.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Update article net price from deliveryWhen you sign<\/em> a delivery, the net price in the article register of the articles included in the delivery is updated to the price you specified on the delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Reservation offset <\/strong>(days).<\/h4>\n\n

    Here you specify how many days the system should use as a limit when calculating reserved articles in work orders, service orders, sales orders, and the like.How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    Empty value<\/strong> (i.e. you do not change the default setting of no value)The system counts all reservations without taking into account dates – but service orders that do not yet have a service protocol are not counted at all<\/strong>, i.e. have a status of not handled, started or your own status (or canceled).0 or higher<\/strong>The system counts reservations where the date in the order (e.g. Planned date or Delivery date) plus the number of days you entered<\/strong> is the same day or earlier than today.In this mode, service orders that do not yet have a service protocol are also counted, if they meet the date condition.Update interval<\/strong>The system updates the calculation once a week.<\/strong>If you change the value for reservation offset, it applies to the next run, which can take up to a week, and then affects both old and new orders.<\/p>\n\n

    Correction<\/strong>If there are changes to the reservations since the last update, you will see the Correction button on the article post in Storage items<\/strong>. Click the button if you need to update the reserved quantity immediately.Requires admin permission.<\/p>\n\n

    Reservations affected by an update:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    • All work order articles, including articles to order<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Sales order undelivered articles<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Other articles and parts on a Service protocol<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Not handled (with protocol) service order parts and other items (only if value \u2265 0)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Undelivered purchase orders (shown in the Ordered amount<\/em> column)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Permissions for Storage concerning users<\/h4>\n\n

      In order for you to be able to see and use the inventory function, an administrator must grant you that permissions.<\/p>\n\n

      The permissions are<\/span>:<\/span> \nView, Create, Edit, Delete, Use other storages than default, Set Main Storage, Set Default Storage, Assign Default Storage, Create Delivery, Create In\/Out delivery, Edit Delivery, Delete Delivery, Sign Delivery, Create Stocktaking, Edit Stocktaking, Delete Stocktaking, Perform Stocktaking, Show pending stocktaking articles<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

      Create in\/out delivery<\/span><\/i> gives permission to make deliveries to and from storages.<\/span> \n<\/span>Create delivery<\/span><\/i> gives the permission to make deliveries <\/span>between<\/b> storages.<\/span> \n<\/span>If you do <\/span>not<\/b> have the permission to <\/span>use other storages other than default<\/span><\/i> storage you can only move between the main storage and your default storage.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

      Select default storage<\/h4>\n\n

      1. Click on Storage<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click on the storage you want to use as default storage<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Use as default storage.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

        If you want to change the default storage, open that storage and click on <\/span>Use as default storage.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\n

        If you want to specify the standard storage for an employee, click on Assign. This requires the permission to<\/span> Assign Default Storage.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\n

        Not being able to select “No storage”<\/h4>\n\n

        Do you want articles to always be retrieved from the storage, i.e. it should not be possible to select “No storage” when placing articles on orders?<\/p>\n\n

        Terms<\/strong>: You only have\/use one (1) storage.<\/p>\n\n

        Do this:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

        Deselect the user permission under Storage – “Use other storages than default”<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n

        Also set under Module Settings – Storage Settings<\/em> as shown in the image below. This setting is needed if you ever need to add an article.<\/p>\n\n
