{"id":10871,"date":"2023-03-23T15:50:09","date_gmt":"2023-03-23T14:50:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=10871"},"modified":"2025-05-26T15:31:02","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T13:31:02","slug":"import-a-storage-inventory","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/en\/kb\/import-a-storage-inventory\/","title":{"rendered":"Import a storage \/ inventory"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>You import your existing storage by importing an inventory.<\/p>\n\n<p>Admin permissions are required.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Do this:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Group settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <em>Upload a\u00a0register<\/em> at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download the template: \u201dstocktaking-import-serviceprotocol.xlsx\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Import a inventory to the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go back to <em>Group settings<\/em> and click on <em>Upload\u00a0register.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload your file under<em> Upload inventory:<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>There are two ways to import an inventory depending on how your previous inventory was done.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With<strong> amount:<\/strong> the system takes the difference between the number you import and amount in the system. This is the most suitable method if you are moving a storage to service protocol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With <strong>the difference<\/strong>: then the system enters a difference and adjusts the number in the system with the difference you specified.<br\/><br\/>Use this method if you recently have taken an inventory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The date of the inventory is automatically set to today\u2019s date if the date is not included in the import file. Prices and amount will be 0 if this information is not included in the import file.<\/p>\n\n<p>Note that it is only when you sign the inventory that the inventory balance is updated.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is recommended to import one storage place at a time. This way you&#8217;ll be able to notice if something goes wrong and the upload will speed up.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"synka-lager-med-visma\">Storage and Visma<\/h4>\n\n<p id=\"synka-lager-med-visma\">Manual deliveries created in Visma are not synced, however manual deliveries in our warehouse system are synced with Visma.
