You can create a sales order and agreement directly from the booking.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Rental function is under development. Feel free to comment on the feature!<\/p>\n\n<p>Rental is activated with a setting for the Planner. No user permissions other than those valid for the Planner (View and Edit) are required.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to activate Rental in the Planner:<\/h4>\n\n<p>Activating the Rental module requires admin permissions<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <em>Planner settings<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check <em>Use rentable objects<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <em>Save.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to set an object as rentable<\/h4>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Search the object in <em>Service \u2013 Service objects. <\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the object and click Edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark the setting<em> Rentable.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/PS_EN_object_rentable.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10987\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make a rental booking<\/h4>\n\n<p>Go to the<em> Planner<\/em> and select <strong>Rental.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/PS_EN_rentals.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10259\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Service objects you specified as\u00a0<strong>rentable<\/strong>\u00a0are displayed here. Click on a day to add a booking for the object. A window will open where you set the date, time and enter the customer.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you want to go to the service object, click on the name.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/PS_EN_planner_rental_tags.png\" alt=\"The Planner - Rental shows tags added to objects\" class=\"wp-image-22143\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Tags you have added to objects are selectable in the planner.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create order or agreement from the booking<\/h5>\n\n<p>To\u00a0<em>add an Agreement<\/em>\u00a0or a\u00a0<em>Purchase order<\/em> to the booking, click on the booking and choose which one you want to create. The object, customer and date are filled in automatically in the created order or agreement.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/PS_EN_Edit_rental_booking-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10257\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Booked info on a service object<\/h4>\n\n<p>When an object is booked in the Planner&#8217;s Rental function, it will appear at the bottom of the object record.
