What is a print template?<\/h4>\n\n

By creating your own document template in Word (.docx)<\/strong>, you can style your prints<\/strong> exactly as you want them, with your logo, backgrounds, footers, etc. and choose which information to include. If your company already has a template for prints, you can use it as a basis and add the information (tags) you want to include.<\/p>\n\n

You can create multiple templates for the same function\/order type. You may need one template with a price and one without, or one with specific information regarding terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n

To create the template and include the information you want on the printout, use and select from the tags found in the links below. Tags for address etc<\/a>. and prices<\/a> can be used in all places where you can use your own templates.<\/p>\n\n

The tags are written inside curly braces {} where you want them in your document. The “tag” itself is replaced with the information that is on the page you are printing, for example the tag {Customer} gives the customer’s name.<\/p>\n\n

Select template after clicking Email or Print<\/h4>\n\n

When you click on Email protocol<\/strong> or Print protocol<\/strong> on an order or report, a popup opens where you select a template for your mailing. You still have the option to select the default template the system creates. (This does NOT apply when you click on a self-check on a service report.)<\/p>\n\n

A custom template can also be selected for certain collection functions such as Work Orders and Service Protocols.<\/p>\n\n
