{"id":13137,"date":"2023-12-19T13:59:47","date_gmt":"2023-12-19T12:59:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=13137"},"modified":"2026-04-07T14:58:45","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T12:58:45","slug":"templates-docx","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/en\/kb\/templates-docx\/","title":{"rendered":"Print Templates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a print template?<\/h4>\n\n<p>By creating your own document template (.docx) in Word, you can style your mailings exactly how you want them, with logos, backgrounds, footers, etc. and choose which information to include.<\/p>\n\n<p>To create the template and include the information you want on the printout, use and select from the tags found in the links below.<\/p>\n\n<p>The tags are written within curly brackets {} where you want articles in your document.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you are missing a tag for the template you are about to create, let us know which tag you are missing.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Select template after clicking Email or Print<\/h4>\n\n<p>When you click on <strong>Email protocol<\/strong> or <strong>Print protocol<\/strong> on an order or report, a popup opens where you select a template for your mailing. You still have the option to select the default template the system creates. The documents are only a list of tags and explanations, without any layout.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">Tags for e.g. the articles on the order or service points must be placed in a separate table. This table must not be included in another table.\r\nThis applies to everything that is to be listed, i.e. of which there is more than one &#8211; articles, objects&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to upload your template?<\/h4>\n\n<p>The print template is uploaded under <em>Group Settings<\/em> under the respective Module Settings. If you have not marked a print template with the star, it is always the default template, i.e. the one included in the system, that is displayed first and your own templates listed below in the drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/PS_EN_upload_template_star.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22113\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Print template linked to order type<\/h4>\n\n<p>You can link a print template to a specific order type.
