1. Create an account<\/h4>\n\n

Go to our <\/span>website <\/span><\/a>and create a free trial account. It is valid for 30 days. If you choose to continue with Serviceprotocol.com, our sales team will assist you in activating an account and getting started.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

You can, of course, also contact our sales team and they will set up an account for you.<\/p>\n\n

The person creating the account for a company (a group as we call it) will automatically get admin permissions. With admin permissions you can customize Serviceprotocol.com, integrate with other business systems, add (activate) users, configure what users can do and see in the system, upload registers, and more. An admin can also grant admin permissions to others within their group.<\/p>\n\n

2. Explore the system<\/h4>\n\n

Are the features you need available? In the test account, some preset configurations are already in place. Sometimes they fit perfectly, other times a range of adjustments is required. Not all features are activated during the free trial month. Many features are enabled by configuring user permissions. This is done on the page Group settings.<\/p>\n\n

3. Connect to your accounting system<\/h4>\n\n

We usually assist with this when you are getting started. For some business systems, it is absolutely necessary.<\/p>\n\n

For most accounting systems, there are several configuration options available for the integration between Serviceprotocol and your business system. <\/p>\n\n

4. Upload your registers<\/h5>\n\n

If you want to do it yourself, start by downloading the xlsx-file you need from the Upload register<\/em> page. You can find a link to this page att the bottom of the Group Settings page.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n

4.1 Customer registers first!<\/h5>\n\n

Always start with the customer register if you have one. When you have completed the customer register, you can upload registers of their Facilities<\/em> and their People of contacts,<\/em> and then proceed with the rest.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n\n

4.2. Upload or create service templates<\/h5>\n\n

If you already have service protocols, you can use one as a basis when creating service templates. <\/p>\n\n

To make it neat, and if you have many service components, start by creating a header which describes which part of the service the component covers.<\/p>\n\n

The template can be changed on the individual object.<\/p>\n\n

4.3 Add your service objects<\/h5>\n\n

Are your service objects often of the same model\/make? Then use the group\u2019s models. If you have already linked the service object to Models, start by uploading the file with the models. Begin with the models themselves, and if you have parts for the models, take those in step 2.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

If you are using a model database (only available for compressed air models), models are referred to as the Group\u2019s models<\/em> to distinguish them from models in the model database.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
