{"id":23207,"date":"2025-06-03T16:18:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T14:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=23207"},"modified":"2026-09-08T16:32:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T14:32:14","slug":"user-group-settings","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/en\/kb\/user-group-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"User group settings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <em>Module Settings &#8211; User Group Settings<\/em>, all active users in your group are listed and here you can sort the employees into groups or just change the order in which they are located.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sorting here controls the order in which the resources are located in the Planner and in Time report (if you have permission to see more users than yourself). You can book an order for an entire user group in the planner.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I<strong>f you want to create new groups, do this:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on <em>+ Add user group<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter a name of the group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add members to the group by hovering over the \u201cdots\u201d and dragging the user to the group name.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By dragging the dots you can also sort the groups and create subgroups of users. You can move entire groups by dragging the dots in front of the group name.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/PS_EN_usergroupsettings_example-945x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23179\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Here we have created the group Technicians which has two subgroups &#8211; Field Service and Compressed Air.
