A user needs to have the permission <em>Show price<\/em> under <em>Article register<\/em> and permissions under <em>Pricing<\/em> for the price to be displayed. This also applies to printouts such as protocols and orders.<\/p>\n\n<p>*NOTE! Permission for the Planner \u2013 <em>Assign <\/em>is required to be able to change who added an article on an order.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User permissions concerning Suppliers<\/h4>\n\n<p id=\"paslasartiklar\"><em>View, Edit, Create, Delete<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3_artikelinstall\">Module settings \u2013 Edit article settings<\/h4>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set amount of default addition on articles<\/h4>\n\n<p>%. Add only a number.<br\/>When new articles are added (ie articles that are not in the article register) or where the gross of the article is set to 0:-, this standard surcharge is added to the article price.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Default VAT<\/h4>\n\n<p>Enter a number to avoid adding VAT to each new article. No % sign.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Search<\/h4>\n\n<p><em>Include supplier\u2019s article number and description in searches<\/em><br\/>By checking here, you will also find the suppliers\u2019 article numbers and descriptions when articles are added to orders, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>Search on article group in description<\/em><br\/>When you want to be able to search also on article groups, select this setting..<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scannable barcode formats<\/h4>\n\n<p>Here you select which barcode formats can \/ may be used.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h4><strong>Default article group<\/strong><\/h4><\/h4>\n\n<p>When an article is created\/added from, for example, an order, this article group is automatically selected for the article.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><h4><strong>View settings<\/strong><\/h4><\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Separate time report articles<\/em><br\/>This setting gives you two inputs for adding articles \u2013 <strong>Time<\/strong> and <strong>Articles<\/strong> (for WO) \/ Parts (for SO), <strong>Other Time<\/strong> and <strong>Other Articles\/Material<\/strong>. Under Time you can only add articles that are set as Time Report articles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Enter quantity in hours and minutes<\/em><br\/>Requires that you also have the setting to separate time report items. Instead of the number field, a time field is displayed. The system calculates the time. See image 1.<br\/>NOTE! The calculation does not take into account the \u201cstep size\u201d set in <em>Time report settings.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Show last edit<\/em><br\/>Adds the tab \u201cLast modified:\u201d There you can see who changed the article and when.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Use sub articles<\/em><br\/>Used if an article contains multiple sub-articles. Fields for article number, description, unit, price, etc. are added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Use tax reduction<\/em><br\/>(Sweden: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skatteverket.se\/servicelankar\/otherlanguages\/inenglishengelska\/businessesandemployers\/startingandrunningaswedishbusiness\/declaringtaxesbusinesses\/rotandrutwork.4.8dcbbe4142d38302d793f.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.skatteverket.se\/servicelankar\/otherlanguages\/inenglishengelska\/businessesandemployers\/startingandrunningaswedishbusiness\/declaringtaxesbusinesses\/rotandrutwork.4.8dcbbe4142d38302d793f.html\">ROT and RUT deduction<\/a>)<br\/>A checkbox for this is added to the article record. In addition, fields are added to the customer cards where you can enter the tax reduction for a housing association or the personal identification number for a private individual for any tax deductions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cUse VAT per article row.<br\/>When you want to be able to change the VAT on an individual article, select the article setting \u201cUse VAT per article row\u201d.<br\/><strong>Without<\/strong> this article setting, the VAT field is locked, meaning you cannot change the VAT. <strong>With<\/strong> this setting, you can change the VAT on the article row.<br\/><br\/><strong>Conditions<\/strong>:<br\/>The customer setting \u201cShow VAT type\u201d is required. Admin permission are required to activate the setting.<br\/>You need the permission to see gross price.<br\/><br\/><strong>NOTE:&#13;\n<\/strong>In edit mode (Edit), the total price per line is shown including VAT, while the detail view shows the price excluding VAT.<br\/>If the VAT field is left blank, the default VAT or VAT set on the article will be automatically loaded when you save the order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/PS_EN_Articlesetting_hour_minutes.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24235\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Image 1: With the setting \u201cEnter quantity in hours and minutes\u201d you get fields for time instead of number. Here you see the edit mode which means you see the total price including VAT (88:-)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>EDI<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Getting article prices via EDI is the easiest way to always have up to date prices in your article register.&#13;\nChoose to update net or\/and gross price from EDI.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update net price from EDI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update gross price from EDI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Articles from supplier invoices are also affected by this setting. In the history of the article you can see the supplier invoice number and check from which supplier invoice the price was updated.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Include article group on model search<\/h4>\n\n<p>Here you set which article groups you can search for in the group\u2019s models to facilitate search for objects.<br\/>You specify the article groups when you enter an article in the <em>Article Register.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading paslasartiklar\">Addition articles<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"paslasartiklar\">If you need to always add mark-up (costs) to orders, Additional articles can be used. It could be, for example, a mark-up for consumables or on a shipping cost. This information is only available in Swedish.<\/p>\n\n<p>I<em>gnore hidden articles when sending order<\/em><br\/>Articles set as \u201dHide from logged in customer and on prints\u201d will not be added to the order.
