You can create multiple channels, channels on different topics, private channels for one or more of your colleagues or send an instant message to an individual in your group.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Tip! <\/strong>Use Chat as a Newsletter! Information that needs to go out to everyone is not missed as easily in the chat as in the email. You will find it in the upper right corner. If you use a mobile phone, the chat symbol is below what looks like a window. The channel will be added to all users in your group\/company.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Create private channel<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/PS_EN_Chat_add_channel.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Image 2<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>If you want to create a channel for just one or a few employees, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click in the\u00a0<strong>Private<\/strong>\u00a0box when creating the channel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then click on the small gray figure to invite employees to the channel. Mobile view.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Write messages<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n<p>If you are a member of several channels, you will see which one you write in through the slightly lighter color around the channel\u2019s name. See Image 5 above where <em>Administration 2<\/em> is the active channel.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Symbol_skicka_chat75q.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Write your message and click on this symbol to publish it.<\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The message is about a specific\u00a0order<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n<p>Write @SO or @WO and add the number of the order and you will automatically get a link to the specific order in the chat.<\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Delete messages<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n<p>You can delete a message by hovering over a message so that a red cross gets visible. Click the red cross to delete the message.<\/p>\n\n<p>On a mobile device, click on the message you want to delete and the cross will appear.<\/p>\n\n<p>You can only delete your own messages, no one else\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/PS_EN_Mobil_chat_delete_message.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:375px;height:381px\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Image 7<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Information to administrators<\/h4>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User permissions concerning chat<\/h6>\n\n<p><em>Chat &#8211; <strong>Create<\/strong><\/em> <em>channel<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change name on channel<\/h6>\n\n<p>With admin permissions you can rename chats if something goes wrong or, for example, och a group is renamed. To do this, go to <em>Module settings \u2013 Chat settings.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delete a channel<\/h6>\n\n<p>To delete a chat, go to\u00a0<em>Module Settings \u2013 Chat Settings.<\/em>\u00a0We recommend that you be careful when deleting a channel and informing the members of the channel before deleting.
