You set a minimum quantity to have in your storage and then receive information when it is time to replenish.<\/p>\n\n<p>To set the order point, do the following:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on a layer. (In the Layers tab)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of the layer and click <strong>Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the article and fill in the quantity under ORDER POINT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Save<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/PS_EN_Storage_set_placeELMODUL-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24508\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>When you see the <strong>Order Stock<\/strong> button in a storage and articles are highlighted in a bright orange color, there are articles that have passed their order point.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/PS_EN_Storage_order_stock.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23195\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Image 5: Click Order Stock. The button is only displayed if there are articles below the set order point.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>To create a <strong>purchase order<\/strong> for these\u00a0 articles, click <strong>Order Stock<\/strong>. A popup will open with the articles filled in.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.serviceprotokoll.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/PS_EN_Storage_order_stock_popup.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26056\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the articles you want to order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The quantity you entered for the order articles is pre-filled. The quantity can be changed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have specified a main supplier on the article record, that supplier is selected by default. Select another supplier from the drop-down list. You can skip selecting a supplier and select a supplier later on the purchase order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Create purchase order<\/strong>. One purchase order per supplier is created.
