25-01-16 – Self-check on service objects, new settings for service objects, WO and requester, csv changed to Excel and new filtering option in To Do

This is what the first page of the wizard looks like when you add a new service object.

Show wizard when creating a new service object

This setting is for those of you who never use the wizard to add a service object. This will prevent the popup asking if the wizard should be used.

Those who are attentive may notice that we have also added a way to see your own defined fields (the field in the picture called MY CUSTOM OBJECT FIELD) in the wizard.

Admin permissions are required to make this setting.

“Allow anonymous access”

With this option, anyone can scan a QR code and go directly to limited information about a service object.

You don’t see any links to orders, service intervals, agreements, etc. and you can’t change anything.

Use this setting with caution!

Click Add self-check. The list of your self-checks will open.

Self-checks of service objects

Another new feature is that you can add one or more custom controls directly to a service object. You can find the function at the bottom of an object.

Click + Add self-checks. You can of course add multiple self-checks here as well.

Here we have selected in the filter settings for To Do – Show only Today.

Previously, you could choose to filter by this month, next month, and this week. Now you can also choose to filter by today.

Exporting files to Excel or csv?

In Group settings and the modul settings Group settings you can choose wether exports from the system will be in Excel. If unchecked, you will receive the files in csv.

CSV has been the standard until now, but now Excel is the standard. There are still a few places where CSV still is used, but that should be fixed soon.

New customer setting

Should a cost center always be added to orders? Set this under Group Settings – Customer Settings.

Select the option Require cost center on orders under the Group settings heading.

New Work Order Setting for Requester

Save the requester on the facility and customer card.
This is checked by default. Uncheck if you do not want the orderer to be saved on the customer or facility.
