New function on Custom statuses
You can create custom statuses for work orders, service orders, error reports and service objects (Service Object Status). You can define the expressions for these based on your needs.
You can now choose which status should be the default (see under 3 in the image) – i.e. automatically added to created orders. This option is available for Work Orders and Service Orders.
Creating your own statuses requires admin permissions and you make the setting in Group Settings – Work Order Settings and/or Service Order Settings.
Translate your own concepts for service points
When you create your own expressions for service points, the system cannot automatically translate these into other languages. If you have users and employees in other countries or who speak a language other than your company’s language, you will need to translate these.
Admin permissions are required.
Under the Culture-specific overrides heading in the Service Protocol settings, you can add translations for all languages that Service Protocol provides.
- Choose language in the drop down list
- Click on “Add”
- Fill in the translation
- If you want to translate into more languages, select a new language and repeat the procedure.
- Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom and choose to save.
