User permissions concerning the Article register
View, View price, Edit, Create, Delete, Change which user added an article*, Set time report info, Add article group, Remove/edit uploaded file.
NOTE! A user needs to have the permission Show price under Article register and permissions under Pricing for the price to be displayed. This also applies to printouts such as protocols and orders.
*NOTE! Permission for the Planner – Assign is required to be able to change who added an article on an order.

Set amount of default addition on articles

When new articles are added (ie articles that are not in the article register) or where the gross of the article is set to 0:-, this standard surcharge is added to the article price.
Default VAT
Enter a number to avoid adding VAT to each new article. No % sign.

By checking here, you will also find the suppliers’ article numbers and descriptions when articles are added to orders, etc.
Scannable barcode formats
Here you select which barcode formats can / may be used.
Default article group
When an article is created/added from, for example, an order, this article group is automatically selected for the article.
View settings
- Separate time report articles
This setting gives you two inputs for adding articles – Time and Articles (for WO) / Parts (for SO), Other Time and Other Articles/Material. Under Time you can only add articles that are set as Time Report articles. - Enter quantity in hours and minutes
Requires that you also have the setting to separate time report items. Instead of the number field, a time field is displayed. The system calculates the time.
NOTE! The calculation does not take into account the “step size” set in Time report settings. - Show last edit
Adds the tab “Last modified:” There you can see who changed the article and when. - Use sub articles
Used if an article contains multiple sub-articles. Fields for article number, description, unit, price, etc. are added. - Use tax reduction
(Sweden: ROT and RUT deduction)
A checkbox for this is added to the article record. In addition, fields are added to the customer cards where you can enter the tax reduction for a housing association or the personal identification number for a private individual for any tax deductions.

Getting article prices via EDI is the easiest way to always have up to date prices in your article register.
Choose to update net or/and gross price from EDI.

Include article group on model search
Here you set which article groups you can search for in the group’s models to facilitate search for objects.
You specify the article groups when you enter an article in the Article Register.
Addition articles
If you need to always add mark-up (costs) to orders, Additional articles can be used. It could be, for example, a mark-up for consumables or on a shipping cost. Additional articles are automatically added to the order when you sign an order.

Hide article
This function is used when an individual article on an order should not be displayed to a logged-in customer and when printing.
You can also temporarily change the “Hide for customers and print” setting on an article on an individual order.

Fortnox integration settings concerning the article register

Ignore hidden articles when sending order
Articles set as ”Hide from logged in customer and on prints” will not be added to the order. This setting can be used if you use 100 % discount on an article.
