Customer’s order number

When you create an order, the customer’s order number comes from the function you are creating the order from.

  • If you create the order from the customer, the “customer’s order number” found on the customer card is added.
  • If you create the order from the facility, the “customer’s order number” found at the facility will be added.
  • If you create it by clicking on the + symbol, the “customer order number” is first retrieved from the customer card. If you then add a facility that has a customer order number, this will be changed to the facility’s “customer order number”. If the facility has not specified one, the “customer order number” from the customer card will remain.
  • You can always change the “customer order number” on an order without affecting the number on the customer card or the facility.

For the “Customer’s order number” field to be displayed, the Customer Setting “Show order number (also applies to orders)” is required.

The Customer Order Number field and Fortnox

The information in the “Customer’s order number” field is sent to the “Your order number” field in Fortnox.
